BBC4 you are brilliant!

Yesterday one hour of 'dawn chorus' nothing but nature's soundscape and visuals. Tonight two hours tootling down the Kennet &  Avon canal.  No soundtrack, no host,  no voice over, no fancy camera work.  Just water and serene unedited British countryside.  Well some clever use of the camera.

Surprised you did not also recommend the BBC4 series covering "Handmade..." items which I think are also of particular interest which showed the artisan making of a Glass Jug and Steel Knife  on Bank Holiday Monday and something close to your heart Geoff the Hand-making of a Classic Windsor Chair on tomorrow night at 8pm on BBC4.

I am going to watch the woodwork programme!

The dawn chorus was one of the best programmes I've watched for a long time, how much more relaxing it was without the commentry.

I hate to admit it but I think it must have been a bit too relaxing & peaceful since I missed the last quarter of it since I fell asleep!!!!  ;) :-\
