Very sad for the young blackbird! Though he/she needs to feed I suppose. I see you have a clover lawn like me!

Wow that's pretty impressive.
Thank you for the recipe.  I decided to make these today but the instructions do not give an oven temperature.  I cooked them for 12 minutes at 180 degrees and they seemed fine.
Also 'remaining caster sugar' is mentioned but I'm not sure how much was meant to go into the biscuits as I had already put it all in!
I enjoyed the one I ate!
Many thanks Geoff - they are wonderful photos.

I think I visit the forum less than I used to because we are not getting the weekly U3A newsletters which were a reminder to check the latest news on the forum.
I like it. Easier to type too.

Hi Geoff

Perhaps the personnel who normally work in that department are furloughed or working from home. Have you had a definite refusal?  We waited almost 4 months for my son's driving licence.
Wonderful pictures - it brings back many happy memories of the U3A visit there.
Great to see that you mentioned the bicentenary of Florence Nightingale's birth.  Around 20 Nightingales from the January 1967 set were due to meet in London last Tuesday (12th May) and to go to the service at Westminster Abbey.  Instead we had a Zoom meeting and toasted Florence from our homes.
Thanks Geoff for keeping us amused!
